Set to open in October 2025, Hobo Oslo couldn’t wait to welcome its first guest. Earlier this November, they hosted a Christmas party for a small group of 50 guests at the hotel’s construction site. The party, a so-called “beta test,” is part of an event series that all Hobo Hotel’s initiate ahead of opening. The goal: to develop, together with the local community.

When the prestigious World Spa Awards announce the winners of 2024, two of Nordic Hotels & Resorts’ properties are taking home the gold: Yasuragi in Sweden and Norefjell Ski & Spa in Norway. This is the seventh time the stunning mountain resort Norefjell Ski & Spa wins in the category “Norway’s Best Resort Spa”—and the fifth time the Japanese baths at Yasuragi win in the category “Sweden’s Best Hotel Spa”.

THE THIEF in Oslo stole the show, securing the top spot as the number one hotel in Northern Europe. Additionally, Sommerro in Oslo has been ranked number eight, and Hotel Kämp in Helsinki as number fifteen.

A long-awaited art piece is finally done. On December 15th, the doors to this year's art hotel in Jukkasjärvi, ICEHOTEL 34, were opened. The hotel is a one-of-a-kind design experience, where every suite, sculpture, and space is made entirely out of ice and snow, all of it created by artists worldwide.
