Five Nordic Hotels & Resorts Properties Win Gold at the World Travel Awards 2025

Once again, the Nordic hospitality scene makes a mark on the international stage. Five properties within the Nordic Hotels & Resorts portfolio have been recognised at the World Travel Awards 2025, underscoring the Nordic region’s growing influence in contemporary hospitality.

Founded in 1993, the World Travel Awards have long stood as the hallmark of quality in the global travel industry. Each year, the awards acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry—highlighting everything from green resorts and heritage destinations to beach clubs and boutique hotels. Winners are determined through a global voting process, open to both industry professionals and the general public. This way, the awards can be said to constitute a democratic reflection of excellence.

This year’s results underscore the Nordic region’s growing influence in defining what contemporary hospitality can be: driven by design, rich in contrasts, and always with an imaginative approach. From the Nordic Hotels & Resorts portfolio, we are proud to see five of our hotels rewarded on this important stage.

Norway’s newest it place is here to make a statement. Today, October 15, the long-anticipated Hobo Hotel Oslo opens amid growing buzz. With 181 rooms and no less than four different restaurant and bar concepts, it carries forward an idea inherent to the Hobo concept: that a hotel should be as alive and unpredictable as the city it is born from.
