Glamping Revisited: Villa Copenhagen’s Tent Suites Make a Long-Anticipated Comeback

For the third year in a row, Danish landmark Villa Copenhagen is setting up the most lavish of camps at Heartland Festival. The Villa Heartland camp is making a long-anticipated comeback, providing festival goers with exquisite glamping tents that focus on sustainability, thoughtful and accessible interior design, and that five-star feel of the Villa Copenhagen suites.

For the third consecutive year, our Danish hotspot Villa Copenhagen is bringing back their immensely popular glamping concept: the Villa Heartland Camp. Festival-goers staying at these high-end tents will be able to enjoy all of the fun of the festival—while living in the lavish setting of a Villa Copenhagen suite.

Heartland is a cultural event that combines live talks and contemporary art with the greatest experiences from the music and food scene. The festival will take place on June 13–15, 2024, at the scenic gardens surrounding Egeskov Castle, on the island of Funen.

The Best of Both Worlds

Known as the most premium of festival stays, the Villa Heartland camp is an independent area of exclusive glamping tents within the festival's camping area that focus on sustainability, thoughtful and accessible interior design, and that five-star feel of Villa Copenhagen.

Merging festival living with the full hotel experience, the guests in the Villa tents will not only be provided with luxurious and homey accommodation. The Villa experience also includes complimentary breakfast in a private lounge, dedicated bath and restroom facilities, 12-hour on-call reception service and complimentary minibar, as well as bespoke happenings like Shamballa yoga, Shamballa sound meditation, and more.

Out of the 28 Villa Suites, four of them are exclusively decorated by renowned Danish jewellery brand Shamballa Jewels. Drawing on their founding principles of Eastern spirituality, strong Nordic design and understated luxury, Shamballa Jewels are the creative minds behind the interior design of the Master Suite of Villa Copenhagen, as well as the hotel’s well-visited lobby area Courtyard and other rooms and suites.
