THE THIEF, Sommerro and Hotel Kämp Among the Best in Condé Nast’s Readers’ Choice Awards 2024

Nordic Hotels & Resorts are proud to announce that three of our hotels have been recognized in the Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards 2024. THE THIEF in Oslo stole the show, securing the top spot as the number one hotel in Northern Europe. Additionally, Sommerro in Oslo has been ranked number eight, and Hotel Kämp in Helsinki as number fifteen.

The Conde Nast Readers’ Choice Awards is one of the most respected accolades in the travel industry. In it, millions of readers from around the globe cast their votes for the top destinations and hotels, reflecting what the guests truly value: an authentic, unforgettable stay. The prestigious awards are a testament to the exceptional guest experience that each of these hotels provide.

At Nordic Hotels & Resorts, we are immensely proud over finding not one, but three of our properties on the list of the 15 best hotels in Northern Europe.

Located on Oslo’s waterfront at Tjuvholmen, the arrestingly beautiful landmark THE THIEF stands out for its blend of artistic flair and intimate discretion. As Condé Nast notes, THE THIEF is “the only one of its kind, with a determinedly modernist approach, a credible art collection, and the best harbor views in town”.

This year, THE THIEF truly stole the show. The internationally renowned art hotel made it's way to the top of the top, coming in as the number one hotel in Northern Europe and fourth best hotel worldwide.

Since opening in 2013, THE THIEF has established itself as a global leader in hospitality and a favorite among celebrities. Here, every stay is framed by exceptional service and art by the likes of Damien Hirst and Richard Prince, to name a few.
