12 Hotels from Nordic Hotels & Resorts Take the Lead in the Falstaff Hotel Guide Nordics 2026
On May 26, 2026, the Nordic and Baltic hospitality industry gathered at At Six in Stockholm for the launch of the latest edition of the Falstaff Hotel Guide Nordics. 12 of Nordic Hotels & Resorts’ hotels were either ranked in their countries’ Top 10, or recognized with a special award for standout individuals and properties.
Falstaff is one of the leading authorities in the realms of wine, food, and travel. Earlier in May, the publication presented the Falstaff Hotel Guide Nordics 2026—a curated collection of exceptional hotels across seven countries in the Nordics and Baltics. The guide celebrates the diversity and innovation of the regions' hospitality.
To mark the release of the new edition, leading hospitality figures gathered at Stockholm’s renowned At Six in Stockholm to honor the top-ranked hotels and outstanding achievements. The evening’s highlight was the presentation of awards in two categories: rankings from the guide itself, celebrating the highest-scoring hotels across seven countries, and a set of special honors recognizing standout individual and property achievements. Nordic Hotels & Resorts came away with recognition in both.

– Seeing this many of our hotels recognized in a single guide is a testament to Nordic Hotels & Resorts’ trailblazing nature. Across all of our countries, each of our properties have their own identity, their own guest, and their own way of doing things. Staying true to their unique brands, and entrusting their teams to live those brands, is our core belief, says Henrik Berghult, Chief Operating Officer at the Luxury & Lifestyle Division of Nordic Hotels & Resorts.
The Special Awards
The Falstaff Hotel Guide Nordics presents an exclusive selection of the 1,200 finest hotels across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia. These are carefully curated and rated by the Falstaff Travel community, alongside a panel of experts.
During the ceremony night, Falstaff presented special honors recognizing the best of the best, highlighting outstanding achievements within the industry. Nine of those awards went to Nordic Hotels & Resorts properties and people:

The Top Rankings

The hotel is evaluated across six categories: Ambience, Rooms, Wellness, Service, Culinary and Location. The result is a collection of destinations that represent an unmistakable quality.
– From our coastal resorts to our onsen-inspired retreats, these awards are a reflection of the work our teams put in every day. Hospitality at this level is the result of people who genuinely care about where they work and who they welcome. This is our key to success, says Fredrik Blomberg, Chief Operating Officer at the Resort Division of Nordic Hotels & Resorts.
